COOLING PNEUMATIC CONVEYING AIR

The heat of compression by the blower can raise the conveying air temperature above the melting point of the product being conveyed, e.g. sugar. The product will then clump and plug the conveying line.

A heat exchanger using cooled water can drop the air safely below the melting point.
